Lost My IPod/Marbles

I lost my Ipod Touch this weekend
for anyone who doesnt own one or an iphone
your probably sayin
"waah, you cant listen to beeber while cleanin mommys gutters"
or something of that nature
but this thing holds all the info that my brain cant manage
contacts, leads, all the projects ive done the last year, with hours, payments, and balances due, pictures of jobs, oh man everything
including tunes(no beeber, i swear on moms gutters)
its all backed up in itunes but cant access it till get a new ipod/iphone
(can I?)
so now that i cant justify droppin another 200 im lookin all over cl tryin to find something used but now im at that crux that i end up at when buying anything
when i needed a new miter saw times were kinda tight so i was gonna buy a 299 hitachi until i had the loot to get the new makita
i talked myself into getting a used hitachi for 150 on cl but then i realized what a nightmare that could end up being
instead of going for 299 job again i dropped 700 on the makita cause thats what i wanted
only the best
theres something inside that wont let me buy crap
if i develop a festool habit anytime soon
im gonna have to apply for food stamps so i wont starve
sorry bout that rant
where was i
oh yeah ipod
!!!!!aaargh $%*@^!fartknockers!!!!!!!!

I hope you had some security measures on there. If my phone is ever stolen, I can remotely lock it down or even erase it.

I thought I saw an ad last week for a $99.00 I phone with 2 yr agreement. That may work if you also need a new phone. I think you should be able to access your Itunes account from any computer. Maybe stop in at the library and use theirs' if you don't have one at home.

Re: Lost My IPod/Marbles

with the ipod touch
it will only remote wipe or lock
if the person that finds it tries to go on the internet with it
this has become #1 reason why i want to bite the bullet
and go for iphone
id have no worries if it was a matter of pressing a button-wipe it
go buy a new one
ive been checking the find iphone thing 4 times a day and it hasnt logged on yet
thats why i was able to post at 10 whatever
im comin home every break to check it
its seriously drivin me bonkers
to anyone out there with a touch
put a password on your lock screen right now
oh wait
im probably the only one whos still fadiddlin with an ipod

My phone has all the same stuff.... however it's android and while I would miss the physical phone I would probably not miss a single piece of data. But hey apple is better than that silly old android...

Re: Lost My IPod/Marbles

My kid broke her iPod just before christmas, so I bought her a new one.

The screen is broken, but for $ 50.00 I'll send it to you and you can use that til you are ready to spend bigger bucks for a new iPhone/iPod/iPad

It still works, but will need a screen protector to stop you from accidentally cutting your finger.

I thought you had the "vaporize" app on it!
