Ipad App For Displaying Project Pictures

I recently bought an Ipad 4 with the intent of using it to show pictures of porojects that I have done. But I cannot find an app that will do what I really want to do. More specifically, I am looking for an app where I can place my pictures in various folders/albums. Examples: Screen porches, decks, cabinets, etc. I want to be able to have at least a thumbnail view of the pictures if possible. When I pull a specific picture up I want to have either caption or text. Something where I can describe the project and maybe the materials. I also want to have tagging options so I can pull up specific jobs that i remember or tags for something specific.

I have Iphoto, Evernote. but they do not let e do what I want to do. I can do it with a computer but I know there is got to be way to do it with Ipad.

thanks

Check out Keynote. I think that you'll like it.

It's like a photo album that you can make an auto-play power point out of if you like.

The program you want as far as I know of is not out there. It would be great tho! I use portfolio, it's great for pics but no tagging or notes. Turns out I barely use it. I have a very specific way of doing presentations and I have found it hard to implement the ipad. Believe it or not a great, custom printed and bound photo book works amazingly well. I set it on the table when I go through my presentation. That way if one or the other get bored they go for it. Lets me know when to speed up or slow down.

I don't know about the labeling feature but Dropbox lets you make as many folders as you want and place whatever photos you want in the folders.

There has to be something out there. The photobook is not practical for me. I do too many different things. I need to be able to show at a moments notice. While some of the programs I have seen so far who the pictures but none let me tag them or caption them to describe the projects. Which would help if i had to search for a word or tag

You could try Houzz.com ... They have an iPad app. Add your own photos to your own Ideabooks then tag them and/or add comments. Has the added benefit of other prospective clients being able to see your photos as they are online. You can even create an Ideabook for a specific client and have them add other photos that inspire them.

That's pretty cool Bonzai. Can you use it without an internet connection?

You do need an Internet connection ... I carry a mobile wi-fi device (size of a lighter) in my pocket which I can also use with my laptop when in my truck or on a job site. It's cheaper than paying the premium for an iPad with 3G and it gets LTE so doesn't stall when I'm with a client.

I have two hotspots I use as well, but sometimes I am working where there is no reliable cell connection. Just curious if the houzz app was something on the app store. I have since looked up houzz and see it is something totally different.

I have a Picasa account and them use Web Albums to manage photos and albums. The web albums app has a nice interface and swipe.

Hey Dan, didn't the Web Album app you show convert to Best Albums for Picasa on an Update? Mine did.

It doesn't appear that way - looks like they are two different apps.
