Construction Management App????

Has anyone had any success with any of the construction management apps that are out there? Mainly, I would like to be able to set punch lists and tasks over a cloud based app that would allow my crews to access and then check off tasks in real time.

Plangrid specifically for your intent, but use Procore exclusively now.

Can you elaborate on what you use procore for specifically? Also, if it has any flaws?

We use it for whats listed in picture, sometimes more. This is just a snapshot from the ipad app. Its is ok for punchlist, I like plangrid better, but I also like keeping everything under on program. We use it for contracts, prime and sub, change orders, submittals, rfi, transmittals, directory, you can see the list.

Desktop, ipad, iphone. I look at drawings on the ipad all day long. Even manage revisions, very efficient slipsheet system to look at older drawing revisions.

Re: Construction Management App????

I'm been looking at similar software. Procore did a presentation for me and it looks amazing. Haven't got a price from them yet, but if it's anything like this thread. I can't justify it yet.

We'll probably try buildertrend for a project and see how it work.

If you're just looking for a cloud based app for punchlist.. why not use google docs? free and easy to access.

Re: Construction Management App????

All relative to your needs. We are a very large builder, with alot of licenses. And we take full advantage of the software. No use in having it if you are only picking its usefulness here and there. Thats why we dropped plangrid, consolidate.
