Brinno Cam

Picked up this cool little camera that does time lapse videos. I can set this sucker up to record from 7am-5pm everyday for 2 weeks then watch the deck be 'built' in a matter of minutes.

I'm going to use it to put a video on our home page showing a deck build in 30 sec or whatever. Should be cool

I might be late to the party with this gadget but it's neat so that I'd pass the word along....Brinno time lapse camera

Not the same animal, but I've been playing with an app called Lapse It. Works well for shorter (hours instead of days) videos.

Re: Brinno Cam

I just picked one up too, for my first home demo/build. Looking forward to the final project.

Re: Brinno Cam

Brinno has been on my radar for about a year. I saw the demo on the website and it looked pretty cool. We're going to start grading in a few weeks (crossing my fingers that the county hurries up with our building permit), and hopefully will get the camera setup in a tree or on pole. Looking forward to seeing some cool footage 6 months from now.

Re: Brinno Cam

Interesting idea.... but from what I'm reading the resolution isn't so great. Not sure if it's up to the task of recording a door install for example, that can be used for you tube or the web site.

Definitely going to look into this further though....

Thanks!

Re: Brinno Cam

I have run mine a couple times. A paint to adjust the settings on the pro version, it would be great if it could be done online and plugged in. With only 3 buttons and a dozen or so options, it's annoying. The pro has a couple of good upgrades, setting time slots, upgradeable lens and so on. Building my durst house with it, should make a good commercial for the website.
