All of our subcontractors sign a master subcontract that applies to any work they do for us. It covers payment terms, safety rules, housekeeping requirements and a myriad of other little details, basically "the rules of the road" when working for us.

Then we issue purchase orders on a job by job basis. Purchase order mainly refers to the scope of work and price of the particular project and also ties them back to the master subcontract.
