Re: Types Of Houses

Types of Houses -

We got small houses, we got big houses, short houses, tall houses, we got two storeys, three storeys, even four storeys, we got wide houses, we got narrow houses, long houses.

What kind of house you want? We got cheap houses, expensive houses, we got white houses, green houses, blue houses, we got houses with garage, houses with no garage, houses with windows, some with no windows, we got houses in the city, houses in the country, houses on mountains, houses on the beach, we even got houses on the water.

So, what kind of house you want?

For some reason that reminded me of Cheech outside of the strip joint in From Dusk till Dawn.

if you haven't seen the movie, search 'cheech's speech dusk till dawn' on youtube....not for kids, though.

Re: Types Of Houses

One house, two house,
red house, blue house.

Tall house, thin house,
short house, fat house.

Some are new, and some are old.
And some are filled with icky mold.

Why are some houses so bad?
I don't know why, go ask your dad!

From there to here, from here to there,
There are houses everywhere!

Oh me, oh my! Oh me, oh my!
Where do they come from?, you might say.

We see them come, we see them go.
Some sell fast and some sell slow.

With apologies to Theodor Geisel

Dang, I was right there with you. Great movie too. Cheech played what, 4-5 different characters?

Starter houses appeal to young couples making the jump to their first house from apartments

Those young couples have kids and want a bigger house with more options. Going from an apartment, that small house seemed huge. The one car garage was all they ever thought they'd need.. now dad would like some more room out there...mom would like a craft room...

Later you might see older folks down grading from a big house to a town house or condo. Dad doesn't want to shovel the driveway and mow the lawn anymore...

Does that make sense? Different houses appeal to different people in different phases of their lives just as much as different houses appeal to different pocket books.
