Long Overdue Warranty

Metal Roof Warranty was part of the sale agreement, but actual Warranty was not provided at closing. Three years later there is an issue with roof.
Does the present owner have any recourse?

Re: Long Overdue Warranty

yes the problem is a couple of leaks. I do not believe there is any structural or finish problem. it was suppose to be Weathertight Warranty.

Re: Long Overdue Warranty

Clarifying question-

What kind of warranty are you describing- a workmanship warranty provided by the installer or an aftermarket warranty provided by a third party?

If the former, find out who they are and reach out. Even if you don't have record, they do.

If the latter, I think HO is out of luck.
