Health Insurance

I'm seeking any and every advice about health insurance. I want to grow and be competitive with recruiting.

I read something about getting into a pool with other small companies to make health care affordable. Does anyone have experience or insight on this?

Re: Health Insurance

yes, getting in to a pool is a possibility.

your best bet is to contact a local commercial insurance broker and have them explain the options available to you.

Yea while shopping around start doing stretches now to get used to being in the bent over position

Joking aside all states are different and you need to call insurance brokers in your area....obviously look online as well for options and quotes

...Or move to Canada where health care is taxpayer-funded by all, and no small business operator has to waste valuable time researching private scandalously expensive health insurance plans - and take it up the pooper to purchase them.

Re: Health Insurance

I have something that isn't exactly insurance however it works similarly. You might want to look into it. It's a medical co-op. The one I'm a part of is Chministries.org we've had 2 claims. One over 25k and they paid. It is a pain in the rear though. You've gotta manage everything. But its SUPER affordable.

I've heard great things about medishare as well but don't have first hand experience.
