Sign off sheet for a sub working for a contractor - YES
For a contractor working for a homeowner - NO

Where I come from the warranty has to be stated in the contract, by law and the minimum (if I am correct) for new construction is 1 year. My point about a sign off sheet is that it is moot and likely to be used as an attempt for the contractor to try to get out of making corrections when faults are found later. To each his own. If I know I did a complete job with top-quality work then I have no problem with asking for my final payment without asking for a sign off sheet.

Do I really have to re-post many of the posts where contractors on this forum call their customers liars, crooks, ignorant, scam artists, cheap, etc.?

Which state/city are you doing business in?

What would that prove other than I am right? I said that we have all had a client or several that were just that. I will refresh you memory one last time. This is what you claimed:

"Funny, how every customer is cheap, crazy and the bad guy! We always think we are smarter, in-the right and more honest than everyone else."

See how you said EVERY CUSOMTER is...You didn't some some or even most, you said EVERY. Now admit your mistake or prove it. Those are your two options at this point.

I think that PC failed. He was letting guys go and "selling" his company last I recall.

Yup, tho he's toned it down a bit. Daffy's older posts seemed just like PCP trying a modified approach. Both appear to have very similar business approaches and experiences. Don't believe the structure length and fact both are plumbers is coincidence. Daffy just isn't being as Richardly as PCP trolling wise. Same narcissism, but Daffy desires to be accepted. OR PCP realized he was being a knob and changed his tune to more successfully feed his narcissism.

Who are you?

Are you a moderator for this forum?

What do you do for this forum?

Have you provided anything extraordinary to members that helps them to run a more successful business?

Have you ever connected with a member and met with them personally to improve their business?

Have you ever spent any of your personal money to help improve this forum or to help improve another contractor's business?

Have you ever given another member something valuable i.e. a piece of software to help them run their business, or a book?

Have you ever helped another member build a complete website from scratch?

Have you ever contacted a member and worked with him to resolve a serious business issue i.e. how to resolve a serious business problem i.e. a legal problem, or a problem with a customer?

Did pcplumber ever ask you for something?

What did pc plumber do for this forum?

What did pc plumber do to this forum?

Pcplumber did all of the above. He modified existing software probrams and developed a large quantity of software programs for members for everything needed to run a business. He built websites for members for free. Members traveled across the country to meet him to get help with their business and pcplumber traveled to members' businesses to help them.

Pcplumber is still in business and still has one of the largest and most-successful plumbing companies in California. The only thing he did was he reduced his work force because he dedicates more time to his farm. Look him up on the internet, or make a fake phone call and call the company on the phone. Pcplumber is not a train troll, trainwreck nor a weirdo. People don't like him because he operates his business on a level people don't understand, can't understand, can't get to, or don't want to get to.

I asked pcplumber why he does not post on this forum anymore and he said he was banned for something like 90 days and he was already helping too many contractors off the forum and did not have the time nor will to navigate through condescending members. It sounds like members push other members away who are really trying to help others.

Pcplumber went to Puerto Rico with some of his employees for 4 months and spent $6 million of his own money to help people in the cities get on their feet and to help farmers.

He never asked me for one thing. Did he ever ask you?

What do you do for this forum?Contribute with great content!

Have you provided anything extraordinary to members that helps them to run a more successful business? Absolutely, I bet I could even provide a list. And it goes both ways. They have also helped me. I get PM's weekly and a couple of phone calls from this site. In fact, I hired a guy. He walked out after the second day and called me a few weeks ago apologizing and said that it was my contributions here and other facebook groups that sparked his need to make amends with me.

Have you ever connected with a member and met with them personally to improve their business? Over the phone many times.

Have you ever spent any of your personal money to help improve this forum or to help improve another contractor's business? Yes, my time is worth money. I have also sent tools and other products to many.

Have you ever given another member something valuable i.e. a piece of software to help them run their business, or a book? Yep

Have you ever helped another member build a complete website from scratch? No, but I have directed them to Carl who helped me beyond words. I also recommend MyOnlineToolBox, which I beta tested the first course.

Have you ever contacted a member and worked with him to resolve a serious business issue i.e. how to resolve a serious business problem i.e. a legal problem, or a problem with a customer? Yes, you keep asking the same thing.

Did pcplumber ever ask you for something? Nope

What did pc plumber do for this forum? Gave us some good laughs and proved that you can act like a big shot online without ever producing proof other than running his mouth.

What did pc plumber do to this forum? You are repeating yourself PC.

Pcplumber did all of the above. He modified existing software probrams and developed a large quantity of software programs for members for everything needed to run a business. He built websites for members for free. Members traveled across the country to meet him to get help with their business and pcplumber traveled to members' businesses to help them. Lol, okay PC, we know it's you. Or at least his boyfriend. BTW, you know that I didn't say that stuff, I just agreed. This is how I know it's PC. We couldn't stand each other and his buttons, like your's, are easy too push.

LOL, yep, this sounds like the old PC we all know. It's sad that you felt the need to create another account and sneak around promoting yourself.

I asked pcplumber why he does not post on this forum anymore and he said he was banned for something like 90 days and he was already helping too many contractors off the forum and did not have the time nor will to navigate through condescending members. It sounds like members push other members away who are really trying to help others. Again, that is some funny stuff. He tried pushing his out of date software. It didn't work so he tucked tail and ran.

"You can't teach people who already know everything"

"If you are the smartest person in the room then you are in the wrong room"
Too bad PC always thought he was the smartest person in the room and would never listen to anyone. He definitely wasn't interested in learning. So there ya go, nice way to sum him up.

So is that all ya got? Kinda blew up in your face.

They could check his IP, since they can track your log ins once you are banned and see if you create another account with the same IP.
