For Your Entertainment...

I don't post a lot but I just had to show some pics of this roof. I have never seen so many patches on so little space. My best guess is they thought it was a good idea to use a snowblower here. Yes, every light color is a patch over a plate. I gotta think it would have been about the same price to replace. The pictures don't really show the magnitude of the patches, literally hundreds.

Re: For Your Entertainment...

I'm guessing the fasteners for the plates were protruding?

Re: For Your Entertainment...

The bldg is only three years old. It's a fully adhered 90 mil reinforced and the installers did a some decent work. Just cover board over wood deck so it's not the fasteners. The proud plates act like a guillotine when a snowblower is run over them, shearing the membrane right off the top. I'm just shocked no one noticed it about 900 plates before they stopped.

Anyways, just another "just when you've seen it all..." moments.

A day may come, when you run into somebody "who used to be a manager at a certain store in Idaho".

And you will be able to nod you head, smile and say, "yes, I believe I know the store you are talking about".
