Facebook Page

I'm relatively new to social networking and got the urge to put up a Facebook page, but I'm not really sure where I want to go with it other than an online photo gallery. Not sure what else it can do for me. Any suggestions?

Around a year now since I did my personal one and have gotten two roof jobs and a couple repairs so far, but it's free so.

Re: Facebook Page

Sly - I have just started getting into facebook for the business aspect of things. Ive been using it personally for a few years. I figure its free, so why not give it a try. I have a good amount of friends who never knew what I did and since they just found out on monday, Ive already gotten two leads. Two leads from people who would have never had an idea what I do for a living. I can see facebook becomming a big marketing tool especially since the older demographic is starting to join the site and that the college kids who first started to use the site are now around their mid 20's and may be looking at their first homes which are usually in need of fixing.

I am interested in seeing how things playout with that website.

Re: Facebook Page

Facebook is a social networking tool. Puts your name in with friends of friends and so on.
Unless that is the only kind of work you, you might want to put pictures of other types of work.

If you are offering specials on something or doing a show somewere, you could let everyone know.

I havent quite figured out how Im going to do it either but I am trying not to just make it an online photo gallery.
