haven't worked with many guys who smoked, and the one that did weren't framers. framers sure love to drink, though. and not come in on Mondays as a result.

Yeah.... Actually it's not a generational thing..... just started in the 60's..... and I know it's still around.... I don't anymore.... but plenty still do..... live and let live.

On an addition of production 70's homes that I do a fair amount on, I was doing an addition and cut into existing.

There was a stair stringer off the slab by 4-5 inches with a rock (not even flat) supporting the stringer..... and a empty coke/spoon bottle.

Home was surprizingly adequetly/pretty-well built otherwize....

Doesn't matter when pay day is...

If a guy is going to party or whatever he is going to do it no matter what....

I would be more impressed if he just said I partied a little to hard last night. Might not be happy with that explanation, but no the less impressed.

Had to add a few, ykyafw...

You've used Pl to fix a headlight
In the summer you burn through a pair of the wally world shorts every week
You join the union and are told to slow down every five minutes
You leave the union cause you can't stand the waiting around
