Flush Door Jamb / Trimless Door


Anyone Ever did a flush door jamb detail / system such as

Looking to add this to my personal house build .

EZ jamb looks sweet, but its very costly system.

Looks like it would be prone to getting damaged. A jam and casing take a fair amount of wear an tear

Iíve done drywall for this system numerous times. Framing has to be perfect.

We do them occasionally. Here they use corner bead that tucks into a kerf in the jamb, and float up to it. It’s a common cost-cutting measure. We’ve done flush doors in a cladded wall too. Those are pretty slick. I bet you could DIY your own system with schluter j-channel
