Unwanted Phone Calls From Construction Pipeline

I know for a fact that this subject of unwanted phone solicitation has come up before, and, many times.

My issue is with this company specifically, Construction Pipeline. Theoretically, what they do is get you names of GC's of projects in your area that are "supposedly" looking for subs. In reality, it is anyone's guess how they come up with the names and projects. Some are so old, the projects have been completed for years. Plus, if you ever contact any of the GC's on the list, they wonder WTF are you calling them about, along with "don't you F----ing call me again.

So back in the beginning of 2011 I joined this little party and got the lists of projects and GC's. The majority of projects being at least 100 miles away. I got these lists for about a year for a 3 month membership because they wanted me to re-sign up every quarter, and, I told them how worthless they were, so they gave me another 6 months for the cost of 1 month.

What they do now is call me about 1 to 2 times a month, which is when they find someone willing to make the calls. Plus, it's always a random phone number and caller ID.

I know a lot of CT members have issues with lead generation firms and their pesky calls. This is contractor to contractor lead generation.

Anyone else come across these guys? or just me

Re: Unwanted Phone Calls From Construction Pipeline

Are they calling your cell phone number or an office number? If it's your cell phone you can tell them it's your personal line and to take the number off the list. They legally have to. If it's a business line I don't know how to get around that. I get telemarketing calls all day long on my office phone.

Watch out Construction Pipeline is a total scam. Don't do any business with them. They are into credit card fraud.
