Trailer Advertising

I am in the process of building a "mini home" on a 4 ft by 6 foot trailer. This is in response to the city not allowing me to place a display sign on a long time long term customers lot.

I am making it short enough that it wont get a lot of drag in behind my truck if I need to pull it around to a event or simply use to haul away junk from a small job. Most likely from that customers home as she has a very long list of things to be done around the house and lots of stuff that needs to be hauled away.

I have 18x 24" coroplast signs that I will be using as "windows" That will be seen from 3 angles when the trailed is parked on the driveway.

My question is the color of the wood lap siding should I be going for something plain or step up the colors.

The home that is there is a 100 year old former judges house painted white with black trim and dark shingles.

The street it is on is extremely busy and in a week with out the sign lost a lot of phone calls/jobs and I placed the sign back on the lot as a test over the weekend and the first day got a call and a job as a result.

chev Silverado silver with a white ARE contractor canopy
Not overly concerned if it matches the truck I have a 8 foot utility trailer that is grey and somewhat matches the color of the truck, that I will be using more and a 16 ft enclosed trailer.

Re: Trailer Advertising

If you are not concerned about scheme, maybe play with something high visibility like a Yellow siding and hope to be a big attention getter

Re: Trailer Advertising

I'd say use colors that will make it look like a classy house.

I think making people think or say to others "Hey I would live in that house even though it's being pulled by a truck. Just think what this guy could do with a real home..."

Might get quite a buzz going in your area. Post some photos.

+1 on the photos. Sounds like a pretty unique advertising idea.
I'd say make it as nice as possible. Colors with a wide appeal.
