Fewer and fewer people are going to even be accepting sites that aren't responsive . . .

the nail...you hit it on the head!

With tablets becoming more and more popular and varying in size so much, a site that can respond to any size device is going to retain its user longer. The last thing you want is for your site to take for ever to load or time out because theres too much content for the device to handle on a bogged down network (read: in the city)

I agree The mobile version is in need of some serious attention, and its under construction.

My opinion anyhow.

I personally dont like the way the town links are on the top of the page. Its the only thing about his sites im not in love with. But its a small nitpick. Also if you want higher end work do you want Queens and Brooklyn to be the first thing they see? Those arnt high end towns right?

The please contact me sounds like your begging. It should be telling someone to contact you. Not asking IMO.

I would call you though, nothing is sticking out as sloppy. Content could be a little better optimized for engagement. Ask the readers a question, relate with them, let them know you know what they are thinking.
I made the changes based on yours and many other suggestion. Thank you!

Keep the suggestions coming guys.

Matt,

What is the name of this plugin? Are you still running with the same site as me?

Re: Need Feedback From CT Members Re: Website Update

Like how the contact info is easily accessible, and easy to see

As already noted i wouldnt add please contact me. Its cool to ask for a sale, but one thing ive learned is when you seem willing to walk away people feed off it more. You are sucessful right? People call you, you have so much work because you are good at what you do..you dont have to beg people to sign.

Only thing i would do differently if i was really trying to hit the higher end market..get some really nice photographs. If you arent into photography, hire someone who understands the lighting. Get some of your clients who have alot of other high end work in the house..and showcase the entire room together.

Right now your photos remind me of empire today a little. Generic enough.

For the higher end stuff..its more emotional. Id keep the info down to a minimum, sites already pretty easy to nav. Add some higher end pics. Keep your contact info the way it is. Be what i would change

I believe the sites coming out now would be best served to be fully responsive, - - but to also have a 'full site' option at the same time.

Darned friendly site---you come across as approachable and honest.

Not over priced and snobish, yet quality oriented----some fine tuning ,perhaps--but if I were looking for a floor, you would be one I would call----

Re: Need Feedback From CT Members Re: Website Update

The WordPress plugins:

WP Super Cache
Or WP Quick Cache
These will speed your site up

WP Touch
Will help make your site mobile friendly
Alternatively, you can go to a site like Duda Mobile and make your own mobile site for less than $10 a month. If you don't have the $250 to invest in a stand alone mobile site.

Then again, you can also dump the whole template for the guys you go the site from. Go to a site like ThemeForest.com. Click on WordPress. Search for the term Responsive. Then filter by the most sales.

Also, I would move the testimonials to the left, under the services/types of flooring.
Then move the affiliations up, ultimately removing that big square of white space.
