Lead Services

I've recently been contacted by both Hometown and Networxs. Anyone had any dealings with either of them? Just looking in to them.

Re: Lead Services

I think one of those two is the new service magic name.

Re: Lead Services

We're a flooring company and networx has been ok. We pay a flat fee (200/mo) and get unlimited leads. That really means maybe 1-2 a week. We've closed on a few jobs- nothing spectacular. The only con is the competition of contractors in our area. I call the prospective customer super quickly to make an appt, but I always get a flustered person that questions," and which company are you calling from? I've received a million calls today!"

Re: Lead Services

With any lead generation services - the biggest key to success is differentiation. As mentioned above - you need something to make your company stand out from the "million other calls" the customer gets.

I posted an article a while back on this very topic (how to make 3rd party leads work)... Have to dig up the link for it...

It reminds me of the story my neighbor told me. He contacted Home Advisors a few months ago. Three contractors came to his home and got three estimates. He went with contractor A not because they were the cheapest, they were actually the most expensive. They went with this company because they were the most professional, well dressed, timely in their response and just came across as the authority in the field. All perception right? Contractors B and C fell short so they were out.

When the job came time to begin my neighbor was perplexed when he opened the door and saw contractor C standing there. "I'm sorry, I thought I made it clear that we decided to go with another company." My neighbor said to the contractor standing there. "You made it very clear sir." Replied contractor C. "I'm here because contractor A subcontracted me to do the work."

Re: Lead Services

Haha its almosy like a bad joke. Another whole drmension to all of this.... But it shows you hiw focusing on the right things leads to a sale and price is NOT the deciding factor when you seperate yourself from the lowest bid
