Re: Company Slogans

I know a guy here in Minnesota who owns Filthy Clean... a cleaning service firm. Their slogan is

"We don't cut corners, we clean them"

This dude also has an awesome Logo. It fades from the word fithy, which looks like someone splattered mud and spelt out the word, to clean which is shiny and sparkly clean.

Re: Company Slogans

I'm just getting up to speed with a marketing effort. I've only been in business a few years and have just set up a website, ordered my first business cards, designed a logo, etc. Thank you so very much to all of you fine folks who have so much knowledge that your are willing to share with the hopeful up-and-comers like myself. Anyway, I came up with a slogan out of the blue and I think I like it. Fine Craftsmanship: The Intelligent Solution. I stuck it on the business cards I ordered and on some post cards I'm going to drop off as I canvas the neighborhoods where I want to work.

This is the best slogan that I've herd of to date:
Fort Collins Towing Company:
We don't want an arm & a leg, just your tow!

"My greatest creation wasn't made with my hands,
but my heart goes into everything I do." jay

thought of this, but saw similar in town. "We'll help make your house a home."

for plumbing "sometimes sh!t happens, we'll make sure it's just in the toilet."
for electrical "our prices won't shock you, only our work."
GC "you want cheap, pick up the guys on the corner."
HVAC "you'll be suprised how intelligent this monkey is."
masonry "When you want it hard and level."
carpentry "Our prices dont rise, it's the cost of wood."
flooring and remodeling "we've been laying more than floors for 25 years"

Framing:
"It takes studs to build houses"
"We'll get you hammered, then we nail you"

Septic:
"Our prices may be high, but our service sucks"

Funny:
"When you need someone really bad, we're really bad"
"We're not happy until you're not happy"
"We always show up late and smell like beer"

I do remodeling and am not having any luck coming up with a slogan. The business is called Remodeling Specialist. We do everything from roofs to room addition, to floors, anything! Anyone have any ideas of a good slogan????

I think the name sucks. That may seem harsh, but before you can have a good slogan a good name should come first.

Re: Company Slogans

I'm one of those non-creative types so I can't help you much but I would try and follow two simple rules if possible.....1.) Try and show people an advantage 2.) Prove it's an advantage.

Obviously this is difficult but if it's strong it works great. My slogan of "Watertowns favorite plumber" isn't the best but it works well for me and the image i'm projecting.

Remember the slogan of Dominoes Pizza? 30 minutes or it's free....that showed an advantage and it worked so well it became the weekly jokes for late night comedy tv but put them on the map.

Mike
