SU 2017 Pro Vs 2015 Pro

I've been using SU make 2015 for about the last 18 months to draw pole barns and decks, simple stuff.
Starting to build more complex projects, and would like to learn how to use Layout, so I can generate professional looking drawings.

Question is, is SU 2017 so much better than '15 that it would justify having to reinstall all my plugins(some of which probably don't work with '17 yet), remake templates and such, or should I just buy a license for '15 and be done? Is there a bunch of new stuff to learn in '17?
Thanks

Paul

Looks pretty cool, can you recommend any good material for learning Layout?

They improved it and added additional features for some tools and for plugin management, layout, etc. Also it runs more smoothly and faster with lesser load on the system, etc.

Re: SU 2017 Pro Vs 2015 Pro

That's one thing I was concerned about, was how much of a resource hog it would be, since my system struggles at times with 2015.

Re: SU 2017 Pro Vs 2015 Pro

So it looks like I'll need to upgrade my graphics card to use 2017, guess I'll be sticking with '15 for a while longer, until I start doing enough in house design to make it worth it.

Thanks for the help everyone.
