Tom, get this 3D mouse for $100, you will modeling time by 75%. They have a wireless one you can move from Laptop to desktop, etc.

After I got this mouse, I was beating my self up for not getting that 3D mouse sooner. The difference is like night and day when you working on a model.

I've done a lot of drawings on CA. Pretty steep learning curve but a powerful software.

I'm now on my own learning curve with Moziak.

Re: Sketch-up Training?

My Sketchup Make 2017 has been super glitchy lately, so I went see if there was a new 2018 version of Make and apparently they've stopped development of the free desktop Sketchup Make and have went to some online "Free Sketchup".

More details here
https://forums.sketchup.com/t/what-s...hup-make/55219

I was pretty bummed to hear that, but frankly I'm pretty surprised such a powerful tool was free for as long as it has been.

You can still download older versions, but I imagine this shift will have a pretty serious impact on Plug-in development in the future.

Re: Sketch-up Training?

I don't much care for the online version of Sketchup.

A lot of it is familiar of course but it just seems to run slowly for me.

Andy.
