Porch Flooring Ideas

Current owner does not want to brick a concrete porch. I'm thinking of using Azek T&G for the porch but I'm clueless as what to use for treads as far as synthetic material is concerned (something about 12" wide).

I do plan on using stucco for the risers as well as sides of porch.

As well, I need to construct stoups on both sides of steps.

Any suggestions? Or convince her to brick the steps...

Re: Porch Flooring Ideas

Why stucco? You could build the steps out of the same material you use for the rest of the porch. The Azek tongue and groove is really nice stuff. You could use it for the treads as well and get matching or coordinating Azek to use for the risers. I'm sure that someone w/ more experience w/ the this product than me will chime in here, but thats just my $.02. I've only done it once w/ Azek tongue and groove and it turned out really nice, but I've seen a bunch of pics from other contractors that are just fantastic.

Turns out I had about 100 sq ft if Old Chicago brick pavers left over. Going to just buy another 100. It's cheaper than azek turns out... including labor.
