Re: Reporting Violations

On the permit note...I have been waiting 5 weeks for a 2 weeks permit for some partition walls (no electric or other mechanicals. Although part of the blame is on me, because I submitted the permit when my license in that city was valid. It expired 3 days after they called and said it was ready. They said I just need to bring up the bond (which I had renewed a month prior). I get up there and they said they also need another copy of my insurance with them listed as an additional. Again, I renewed that as well, just wasn't thinking about having to bring a copy. So I go back the next day, turn in the paperwork and pay them their fee. That was nearly 2 weeks ago. Apparently the license has to go through the entire approval process again. So I sit on my thumbs waiting for their approval to finish.

Merica!
