Massachusetts Enacts State RRP Program

AS of July 9 2010 the state of Massachusetts has been authorized by the EPA to administer it's own RRP program. The bad news, it's $75.00 more than the EPA $300.00 to apply for certification. The good news, depending on your view, the rules are pretty much mirroring the EPA's. However, unlike the EPA, a certified renovator must be on site at ll times while the work is being done.

If you have not sent in your application for certification to the EPA yet you must send it to the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety. If you have applied to the EPA prior to July 9 you will still have to apply to MA but will not have to pay the state fee.

How many contractors at $375.00 will it take to pay off the Big Dig?
