Young Guys In Fixing Up Business?

It happen again. Get called by a "developer" to see would I trim house that they fix up. I show up there and another guy, not one who called was there. Basically He asked me can I trim a 2200 sqf (at zillow) duplex in 4 days. Doors are installed, everything else not.
Scheme is always same. He spend lot money at plumber, electrician, framer now want trimming for free. It is tons of young office rats out there that flip houses and want everything for cheap. Someone installed kitchen and doors already. Doors are installed with that L brackets. Obviously he assume I'm 2nd tier carpenter that work for cheap, and his carpenter did all heavy duty job. Obviously I didn't even try to get that job.
BTW his carpenter wasn't capable do leveling of floor with strips so entire house floors when you walk you are like walking at floor of ship in storm. Especially kitchen area. Lol. I do not know even how it can pass inspection. Point is I do not want dill with this young idiots. Just 2 months go another one basically want me trim stairs for 15$. We talked in bulk but would come to it.

There in lies the root of most of your problems. I get it that you may occasionally get a decent job from there, but I bet that you spend a lot of time looking at jobs and talking with people who are just looking for the lowest price. What can you expect if you keep fishing in that same slimy pond?
