Re: Are You Making.....

Like some say depends what they mean by making a living. Just scraping buy or able to afford to go out and buy new trucks and trailers and a new house. All of which i have just done but i ain't the main bread earner so it's easy for me to say making a living.

What i have found funny is people are complaining about losing jobs and having no money and the way the economy is the way it is but you should have seen all the people down at the local dealership Saturday and Sunday trading in their cars. My mate traded his car but owed 7k more than the car was worth and they still gave him finance. Looked like everyone was prob doing the same deal because that was there main feature. "We pay off your outstanding finance even if's its $20k more than the cars worth" !!!! now if that don't get you into financial problems i don't know what will.

Re: Are You Making.....

It all depends on your perspective... I know a super i do work for from time to time and he make about 90k a year plus bonuses (or so he says) but is working for the man (builder) and when I come on the scene all he seems to say is "Man it must be nice working for yourself". He doesn't have a clue about the extra costs you pay when working for yourself or wondering if that phone is gonna ring today. The last thing I think of nowadays is how nice it is to make my own decisions. I am too busy thinking about the business most of the time... but I do love the challenge! So yes, I am making a good living regardless of my P&L...
