This thread was a total disappointment. . . . I scrolled through 3 full pages and no pictures!!!! I can't possibly give an opinion on the topic without more information.

Andy.
We're doing a remodel about 100 ft from Castro St. right now. San Francisco is a town with numerous micro-climates - the Castro has been pleasant recently - warm enough for speedos if that's your style.

Nothing but pants and mostly long sleeves with t-shirt most of the time. Most of my body has not seen sunlite in over 30years.With the right clothing I think you stay just as cool.

We don't have company shirts yet but we are looking to do that as soon as we can find the time. Too dang busy right now.
Ebay: moisture wicking shirts aka performance wear aka dry fit...

Contact the seller and work a deal with them for the sizes, colors, style you want. You don't have to be stuck with the "lots" they post for auction.

I do dry fit polo shirts with v-neck no buttons for me and my sales people, white dry fit no collar, long sleeve crew neck for the crew.

Normally $40-$80 each but I got new ones this year 20 for $300. I was stoked.

Much much cooler than short sleeve cotton.

Exactly.

If it's sunny enough to be that hot the last thing I want to do is expose my skin to that cancerous, energy-depleting ball of fire.

I just realized this thread was started by a mountain biker. If you look like this guy - or any of the guys I ride with - please keep your shirt on!

Even with just a plain white t-shirt and carpenters jeans the framers all looked like this:

This went on most of the day too because it rained on and off all day and I was running block across a big open yard for the majority of it.

That GC must have been PO'd when he realized how little they got done that day.

Yeah, construction dudes get real creepy with a lone female on site. And if said female is attractive, forget about it, the creepy-meter reading is off the charts.

Isn't that the truth. A nice looking 30 something walked past our job site a few weeks ago. It was the first time I've ever heard a guy yip and howl like a coyote at her.

Re: Working Outside Shirtless

A drywall sub we used one time was talking to me, an attractive woman walked by on the other side of the street, he stopped mid sentence, watched her for a good 10 seconds, made some comments I won't repeat, and then carried on where he left off.
