Whats Your #

A logo thread got me thinking, whos got the easy contact #s and did you get them by luck or did you have some imput for them?

i,ll start it off about 15 yrs ago when i had nextel i had 3 # for my crew - 433-5656
57
58
All in order!! even going back to the beeper age i was pretty lucky, with 954-0010

after regrouping the buisness in 2000, i landed 485-0002 (i had a choice of about 5 random #), and its served me well for 10 yrs, and just this year i switched carriers and am very thankfull its so easy to take the # to another carrier!!

anyone else have great #s that they got buy chance, luck,or draw?

Re: Whats Your #

I tried for a number with wood or LRG or shop or something but nothing was available. They gave me a choice of three and I chose ***-1333, pretty easy to remember.

735-1000

A ****o line in the same area code is 735-7000, so it works well for those pesky solicitation calls, i.e. "you will need to call the main office, 735-7000".

None, really. I think they should pay us a commission because I send at least a couple a day to them.

Re: Whats Your #

Ol#2 is in the phone biz so I've always had a number that I wanted.

Failing that, My buddy has two sisters that work for a phone co. and they can make things happen.

I like easy numbers, 220-0001 as opposed to 'dial-me3' cutesie stuff. I'm old school and trying to figure out that a 'd' is a 2 is more effort than I want to put in. I also work in one of the states where people come to die, their memories are worse than mine. They want easy to remember.

A refrigerator magnet with your name on it will be there forever. Just a tip!

That is a local plumbing contractor here. All the tv add's play that song in the back ground.
Has a slogan some thing like "with a number strangely familiar"

Re: Whats Your #

I started out focusing on painting years ago. 29paint which is 297-2468 Either way it is easy to remember. I just use the numbers now as we do almost everything. I agree with others that I hate decode letters to numbers when dialing. I guess I'm just slower than most.

Re: Whats Your #

I didnt realize it until recently, but my phone number I had as a kid spelled out my name. It was 261-2539, which spells out 261-ALEX.

My business number is reasonably easy to remember 460-7500... Thank you Vonage!
