He's been through every landscaper in the area, I'm the only one that puts up with the micro managing and fussiness. It's worth it for the knowledge. He's growing some very rare and beautiful plants. He also pays well. This is going to be a bear of a job, that teak mulch is ridiculously heavy. Weighs more per yard than gravel, and I have 20 yards to install.

Re: What Product Do You Think Gouges Us?

$250 a month gets transferred to her prison commissary fund every month, the rest sits in a savings account collecting interest. If she ever gets out she'll be able to retire. I have to pay her $1,000 a month or 16.5% of my gross income. Which ever is greater.

I'm fighting it. Unfortunately the only 2 conditions I can stop paying her alimony are death or if she gets remarried. Prison ain't one of those conditions.

Shame you two couldn't work things out.

WTH do you need to do to get 30 to life?

Get married to her again...Save some dough I'm thinking you are only paying $ 250.00 a month after that.

Re: What Product Do You Think Gouges Us?

She divorced me and ran off with "the love of her life", a drug dealing unemployed loser who made life exciting. They ran off to Texas. When she and the boyfriend ran low on money they decided to rob a restaurant near Austin. An off duty cop pulled a gun on them. They started shooting. My ex shot the cop and another person. He wounded 1 person. She was charged with armed robbery, 2 counts of murder, drug possession, resisting arrest, and a bunch of other stuff. To get out of the death penalty she pled down to 30 years to life. Her parole officer hasn't even been born yet. She'll be eligible for parole when she's 55.

Honestly I feel bad for her. It has to be hard sitting around all day. Watching TV, watching the miracle of compound interest at work. Eating snacks and growing fat on my dime. Having no real responsibilities. Getting all her basic needs met on our tax dollars. Trading cigarettes for lesbian sex. She really has it tough. My heart bleeds for her.
