I got two auto hammers. One Craftsman, one Ryobi. Same tool, just packaged different. Both are going back. What a joke. I'll have fun with the return money.

I feel your pain. I got a new computer finally replacing a 9 year old Dell with a new Dell XPS 8000 from Best Buy, 24" wide screen HD monitor, and Kodak printer. Started at about 4:00PM finally went to bed at 1:30AM after being on the phone for 1.5 hrs with earthlink and 2hrs with Dell. Some sort of "conflict" issue with windows7, earthlink. Seems ok this morning though.

I like it too.
I'd love to have one myself but my 14 y/o would just commandeer it and I'd get a call to come down to the school.

Maybe you could get her a nice parting gift like Strats t shirt.
Let her know she'll always be your #1.

As for me...
A new years supply of socks and underwear which I needed. I can retire my last years batch. (The crotchless ones)

A digital camera

And a new Bosch plunge router.

Re: What Did You Get?

I don't know what I got yet lol. Spent the day before and Christmas eve in the hospital with my 3 year old son, who was diagnosed with Asthma and was having blood/oxygen saturation problems. So that was eventful. Every time the poor kid would fall asleep they were in there poking him or something. Was also advised to get his twin brother in to see if he has it too.

Then while I was at the hospital, my three older ones came down with the flu. Get home Christmas Morning not feeling well myself, and then the one that was in the hospital, and his twin brother came down with it, so that shot Christmas Day. Then yesterday my wife comes home early from work with it. So we had to reschedule Christmas Eve with mom's side of the family for New Years day, and my dad/step-mom are coming over tomorrow to celebrate my daughter's b-day (Christmas Day), and Christmas. So everything is still wrapped under the tree.

Re: What Did You Get?

A lump of coal...

No, I bought...er....Santa made my son and myself a 25 round, belt fed select fire (semi/full auto) NERF machine gun. So now there are some massive wars happening in the basement. Those things got some power behind them.

My son has yet to learn that aiming is 99% of the reason, the good guys win in a fire fight. Oh well, I just lay on the floor on one side of the basement and snipe away in single shot mode while he blasts away anything and everything there is to see. 3 rounds a second at 25 rounds... he runs out of ammo pretty quick.

After a week or so of this, I'll 'hack' my gun and make it quicker and shoot farther.

...oh yeah, got my daughter an American Girl doll and a bunch of clothes and stuff for it.....BORING!

Re: What Did You Get?

Well, I exchanged the auto-hammer for this:
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...aftsman+NEXTEC
The drill looks & feels like the Bosch 12V Lithium that Lowe's sells for $129. I have been looking for a small drill to complement my DeWalt impact driver. The problem I had run into to was low rpm's (500-600rpm) on all but the expensive drills ($129 & up). This Craftsman does 1300 rpm & has an led light. For light duty, it should do fine. For the price, the saw & light were a gimme.
