Too Greasy?

So I have an opportunity to buy a slot machine. I知 thinking I could put it in my office and make a couple bucks off the guys.....
Am I being too greasy thinking that way?!?!?

Yes.

Put in in your office and hold a lottery once a month/year.

The winner gets the haul.

Re: Too Greasy?

There a lot of opportunities to make money off your guys... this isn't one of them... Love Robies spin on it... and I guess you could even tie production goals into increased tickets for the raffle to increase their odds...

But me thinks it'll cause more resentment/trust issues than it's worth...

There's probably some law that'll get you, and some jerk to call you out to authorities down the road.

Re: Too Greasy?

Go for it.

On some of the plantations in the South, the workers got paid a few dollars a day, then had to rent housing from the plantation owner, buy their meals from him, pay for their tools, and when it was all said and done, they were almost paying the owner to go to work.

It's a long and (in)glorious tradition. You should keep it up.

The lucky winner Robie...the owner of the slot machine only keeps 2-20 percent based on how the machine is programmed...around here they pay out 90-95.

Your probably know this, but machines are set to a minimum payout rate. Folks then "translate" this to mean their odds are actually not that bad for winning....as they lose.

I can see it now... YouTube video cometh... "You see this (pointing to it) THIS is how the man screws ya' and makes ya' think he's doing ya' a favor! It was a gambit so he could STEAL my paycheck back from me"...

A million or so views later and he gets his paycheck back but then YouTube takes it back because it promotes gambling...
