Re: Spray Foam Machine

First you need to figure out which product you are going to sell... They can tell you what if any changes are required

Most of the large companies have packaged deals that you can buy for cheaper than trying it yourself
Trailers are generally preferred due to the need for heaters, storage of the houses, drums, air compressor (think large), and a generator
The smaller the sprayer, the longer it will take to complete a job & you may run into problems moving product through long hoses, etc...

Now if you want a nice little niche, go after a small sprayer setup that can fit in the back of a truck to spray behind showers & the band / rim joist area after they have been framed up - most large companies don't like spraying these area's as they have to charge so much to make money or do it almost at a loss if they think they will be spraying the whole house later.

Just my .02 from researching this a while ago

Re: Spray Foam Machine

Thanks SLS.

reason why im buying

#1 i know if my company is doing it, its done on time and when we need it done.
#2 i rather keep my own guys busy
#3 money

things are usually double the price and more here, now that our money is equal i use it to my advantage and buy state side, but you really get raped on shipping so i usually have things shipped to my family place and pickup there

rite now im looking into the DIY packages, i seen the videos on them and i know SLOW as F and god knows how much the gun setup with it will get busted, clog ect.

Re: Spray Foam Machine

As an FYI - DIY packages are generally about twice what you would pay if you are setup with a company based on the coverage. Generally it is cheaper for me to hire it done than use those packs

The only area's that it doesn't apply to is behind the showers, or rim & band joists if we are going with a different type of insulation

Good luck
