The Hangman by Talyn Industries

I have just one Hangman left to give away so let's do it!

You can see the video here!
http://youtu.be/20v_nXF9lHI

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20v_nXF9lHI

All you need to do to enter is to reply to this thread with your answer to the following question.

What is one thing you know now, that you wish you would have known when you started out?

We will do a random drawing the morning of December 11th.

+1 I'm 59 now and have to give up a few things I used to do because I was so hard on my body back in the old days.

Re: One Hangman Left To Give Away! Enter Now!

What business hours really are.. I had one customer that would text me at 630 am. And one that would text me at 9 pm. I would learn to turn my phone off once I finished the day and not turn it back on until 730 or 8 am.

I'm worth it, otherwise might as well work for someone else and have less stress.

That even if you're a small company, you need to do written/signed warnings for employees when it comes to attendance/job performance before firing them. Otherwise they can just claim laid off due to lack of work and get UI benefits to suck your reserves dry, doubling your rates all while working for cash side jobs until their benefits run out.

Taken a few bucks or a percentage of each job and put it away for retirement.
Not to be used willy-nilly, only for extreme emergencies and then replenished, immediately.

I hear ya.

I never had a problem buying at least one tool on every job, seemed much more important.

Now only if I had matched that to a retirement account, I would no longer be qualified to post here.

I wish I would've made sure the ladder hinge was completely locked before I fell and got three plates 12 screws a wire and a piece of my hip in my wrist.

I wish I would have known that thirty years after putting on a tool belt for the first time, that I would still be doing this.

I probably would have went to college instead.
