The OFFICIAL East Coast (or Beyond) CT Get Together Thread.

Ok, some of you know I've been talking about this for a while but I wanted to know how many people would be interested in having a get together at some point this fall when some of us might not be so busy with work. The details are all open to suggestions at this point. I know there are a lot of guys from NJ and surrounding states on this site.
We'll have to figure out where to meet, the date, and maybe have some giveaways. I would love to hear what Nathan thinks of this. Maybe some sponsors could donate Hats, Shirts, Stickers, and we could have a few raffle prizes of tools.

Let me know if you guys like this idea or think it's not worth doing.

Share all your ideas!

Re: The OFFICIAL East Coast (or Beyond) CT Get Together Thread.

It's a great idea Dan!

Several of us Chicago area guys have talked about doing this too, but it just hasn't come to fruition yet. (Although I have met 5 posters in person so far and have yet to be disappointed)

480 Sparky has done some of these from other forums, and way less show up than promise to. Just to let you know.

I say get a little input, then set the date and location then see what happens! (If it's in negotiation stage too long, it will never happen)

Take the lead!!!!!

(and lots of pictures )

There's a bunch of us North Jersey guys that already meet once a month. Small group, but it's pretty consistent.

Re: The OFFICIAL East Coast (or Beyond) CT Get Together Thread.

Mods, can this thread be made a STICKY.

I'm officially going to make the decision that I think we should all get together at the remodeling show. I'll be there for two days. I need to book a room. We talked in chat room a few weeks ago about this maybe being a spot to meet up. grab some beers. BS, giveaways would be a bonus if we could get some companies on board with the idea for promoting their tools. etc.

Anderson, best thing you can do is check out the remodeling show website linked above. I think they have lodging on there. I hope I can still get a spot. It's not that far from my house if I can't. A little over a 2 hour drive.
