Menards. "Dedicated to service and quality."

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. Service? What service! They hire nothing but stockers. Ask a question, and you'll never get the right answer.

Quality? If you consider the cheapest possible product make in China or Taiwan quality, sure, have at it.

The lumber at Maynards is superior to that at the other box stores. They carry some of the crappiest tools on the planet. But they do have an awesome pet food section!

You can also buy Cheerios and a cake mix if you're so inclined.

There's a shopping center not far from me with BJs, Dicks and Siemans. WTF are people thinking?

It is a home center.
They just have an odd assortment
of other stuff too.
I think of it as a farm store built around
a lumber yard....

Mastercraft (Menards store brand) picked up Stabila levels. Lifetime warranty, just painted gray and less expensive.

My wife, son, and I went to look at a sports bag for his baseball equipment the other night at the Sports Authority. As we were looking, we could tell he was not thrilled with the selection, so my wife clearly and loudly exclaims:

"Do you like any of these or would you like to go look at Dick's"

I lost it
