Looking For Trailer Manufacture?

I have a 2000 Gooseneck 20' + 5' dovetail. The Vin and safety check tags are worn off. I am looking for the manufacture of this trailer?
I found a couple markings on the inside frame that says LCANADA with a line thru the center.
Does anyone have any help with this search?

What are you looking for on the trailer? pretty much all the parts can be bought through other companies.

Re: Looking For Trailer Manufacture?

I am not looking for parts. I need to replace the VIN and inspection stickers.
What I need is the Manufacturers name so I can have it on the Vin sticker.
The title just has "TRBS" under the MFD

The "LCANADA" might just be for the frame materials manufacturer. I would look carefully for any stamping on the frame, especially the tongue area. Did you lose the registration?

Re: Looking For Trailer Manufacture?

No clue on that one.

Any chance you can get a home built title. The ones I've made I took up to the DVM (Indiana), they checked it and issued a home built title. I'd weld what ever serial number I wanted onto the tounge.

Post a picture of your Mustang, that interests me more......

Re: Looking For Trailer Manufacture?

If you have a title, I don't understand what your problem is. Here in NJ you don't even need a title to register a trailer, an old registration is all you need. I'm having a hard time believing AL is more stringent than it is here.

Re: Looking For Trailer Manufacture?

Does the title have a vin number?

You can get blank vin plates, that you can stamp or engrave the information onto.

Just search vin plate, lots of options show up. Custom marked so they look like new is one of the options.

Looks like a nice trailer.

Re: Looking For Trailer Manufacture?

There’s a small trailer manufacturer in Macon MS called Trailboss trailers. Looks like it could be one of theirs. Maybe the TRBS could be there abbreviation. Not sure your exact location but wouldn’t be to far from you in Southern AL. Just a shot in the dark there.

Re: Looking For Trailer Manufacture?

I have a title but it only has TRBS under thr MFD. I am going to order a new vin plate but they need a manufacture to put on it. That is all I was looking for

I don't have an old registration. When I go to get a new registration the DMV needs to look at the trailer and the stickers

grew up close to there and had some extended family that use to work there. Just when I saw that TRBS and op saying he was in S AL that’s what I thought of...

But I check the posts frequently
