PPE, OSHA and Labor posters in the shop next to the Workers Comp poster. Water coolers. First aid kits. That chit aint high anyway compared to tools anyway, and its the law. Company ball caps and T shirts. Work trucks. Tools.

Friday lunch pretty regular. Couple of cookouts at the shop/office.

Pretty generous with materials when they are working on something at home. At least they ask, lol.

First aid kit, water, safety binder, ministry standards book. Fire extinguisher. A few extra hard hats and safety glasses.
I literally have anything and everything to handle any situation in my truck.
Blades, bits etc.

Kowboy @ #41 Ted A, I'd Never post that you have, and will continue to break OSHA regulations on a international Website.....

I don't think these posts will disappear like the IRS E-mails did for the Big O's minions.....

The roofers around here don't come to work till the goods are all GONE..

And the smart ones NEVER bring drugs around their dead beat co-workers....
I think druggies invented socialism/Communism, A friend with weed is a friend Indeed.....

When I roofed full time for other people everybody smoked and broke their ass. No negative effects. Made a tough job sorta fun among the crew/crews. Some burnt out guys though. Harder partying after hours and bigger problems after hours.

I never allowed it when I went on my own.

Re: Kind Of A General Question For Everyone.. What Do You Bring?

My experience has been the druggies and heavy drinkers don't learn very fast, if at all....very rigid.

Some heavy users are noticeably losing skills/ Q Control, and out put wise.

Long term, They listen to the same music, exactly as 15-25 years ago....It is kind off sad, Same hair style, with less hair, more- gray...

One heavy drinker user, foreman, wore Bell bottoms for 40 years, till they were back in style for a few minutes last decade. We buried him in a new pair last year, just past 60, with an 85 year old body.

Maybe the West & East Coast dope doesn't have as many side effects....

Re: Kind Of A General Question For Everyone.. What Do You Bring?

We had a very detailed checklist of jobsite essentials. Some of the key stuff I remember includes:
OSHA and DOL required posters
Safety manual
All paperwork; time sheets, safety inspections, daily plans, etc.
First aid kit
Jobsite safety plan
Drinking water & cups
Job box or trailer to lock up tools
GFI's for all cords
Someplace sanitary to eat lunch, have site meetings, do paperwork, etc.
Port o let if owners restrooms were inconvenient or unavailable.
Plenty of extra PPE; gloves, glasses, ear plugs, face shields, etc.
Fire extinguishers
Temp lighting and heat as needed
A good supply of consumables; bits, blades, fasteners, tape, plastic, etc.
Trash and recycling containers
