How Many Work Related Miles/year?

Momma's been working on taxes & checked our miles for the year. We're claiming right at 30,000 this year.

Do you deduct actual vehicle expenses or take the mileage deduction? We take mileage deduction.

Stop copying me Leo!!!

I do exactly the same. I use that same spreadsheet to log gas purchases so I can keep track of my MPG.

I can email you mine and I would be curious to see yours. That sounded ghey didn't it?

So what you're trying to tell me is you'll show me yours if I show you mine

Re: How Many Work Related Miles/year?

We probably average 10,000 a year in our work van and 3-4000 in the truck. We don't keep track because they are only used for work and owned by the company.

My personal vehicle doesn't get used for work other than an appt here or there. I average 3-4000 on my personal vehicle.

Yep, that's the ghey sounding part. I hit submit anyway. If you've only got 5400 and mine is 5K more than that, I think that mine is probably longer.
