Home And Garden Show

That time of the year again. Have the home and garden show to do today through Sunday. I enjoy doing it , seeing old customers and meeting new ones. It is really the only advertisement I do. I year is all ready so busy for the year not really looking for a lot of work from it. The one thing I don't really care about the shows is a lot of people are only looking a price, not quality of work being done. Has been years in the past where have gotten some really good jobs from it. Lots of sitting and standing, makes the day pretty long. My daughter is going to come and help me so that makes it nicer.

Here in my home town of Great Falls. Big indoor arena. About 350 + vendors. We have a fairly large area that we draw from, a big agricultural arear and a lot of smaller towns. 39th year and I have been doing around 15 or so of them.

I envy you.
Some of the most fun I ever had was the local HBA shows.
Now they are too big for their britches.

Re: Home And Garden Show

I used to do them back when I started fifteen years ago. Enjoyed meeting people but I've found over the years there are much less labor-intensive ways to get leads. But those shows were a good start if you could weed out the tire kickers.

I'd rather eat glass than have a booth at a home show.
