Absolutely Wonderful for shining raking light on surfaces to be able to see flaws that require attention when prepping surfaces for paint.

I always need lights for new construction, low-light times of day, and whenever I mask off all the lights in a room.

I would use it when there isn't enough light on a jobsite.

I carry a 500w Metal Halide wobblelight to jobs in the winter. I'd use the M12 for the 20 minutes immediately after the plumber says,"Hey I'm gonna borrow your extension cord for a bit" and promply unplugs the Wobblelight.

Building new, drywall is up - one outlet and every trade has a cord and power strip piggybacked.

It'd great to be able to whip one of these out while I go over the stair details with the trim carpenter.

Definitely on kitchen and bath remodels.

Always lose the lighting pigtails can be a hassle.

Re: Giveaway: Milwaukee M12™ ROCKET™ Dual Power Tower Light

Heck, I'd use it constantly.

Hanging sheetrock, there are no lights.

Kitchen remodels, the light fixtures usually go up last. Can't really point temp fixtures (if they're installed)

In the apartments (a lot of houses too) Bedrooms and living rooms have no light fixture.

Lastly, putting the van back together, because it gets dark early now.

I want a rocket light

Re: Giveaway: Milwaukee M12™ ROCKET™ Dual Power Tower Light

Doing a great deal of remodeling work where temporary power is not always available having light to function with dwindling daylight is a big deal to me.

Even when situations are good on jobs like basements there's never enough light for my aging eyes

Re: Giveaway: Milwaukee M12™ ROCKET™ Dual Power Tower Light

It gets dark by 6pm around here. I've been having to run cords (everything else is cordless), just to power a light to finish up the day's work, if there's any painting or other precision work necessary. Big pain for sure.

Re: Giveaway: Milwaukee M12™ ROCKET™ Dual Power Tower Light

i could lie to you and tell you i'll use it near excavations when we repair water/sewer leaks in the middle of the night.

i could lie and tell you i'll use it to repair a broken down piece of equipment in the middle of the night that i need desperately tomorrow...

for once, i'll tell you the truth.

i'll use it to set up my RV in the middle of the night when we get to the campground late. i'll use it to light up area if i have to change a tire in the middle of the night on my RV.

i truly feel i need this more than any of these silly contractors.

I'd use that bad boy on the cold winter morning when it's all cloudy and dark while setting kitchen cabinets and doing the inside finish work. That big honkin light would light up a huge room.

In the dark, LOL.
In all seriousness, a lot of uses in many areas of the job sites I am on, also it it would free up both hands to work instead of holding a light in one hand and trying to work with the other.
Thanks for the opportunity.

Re: Giveaway: Milwaukee M12™ ROCKET™ Dual Power Tower Light

Winter this far north only offers daylight for roughly 5-6 hours a day. When you're working 12s you need light. I would use this to supplement our generator light plants that are staged around foundations, giving more specific task oriented lighting. Or from under suspended slab formwork. Or in a seacan without lighting/power.

I would use it for bathroom Reno’s. Smaller foot print than the rest of my lighting so it wouldn’t be in the way

Re: Giveaway: Milwaukee M12™ ROCKET™ Dual Power Tower Light

I’d use the lights anywhere I need good lighting and don’t have it. End of the day with it’s dark at 5, could help with clean up. Also in areas with poor lighting in general. And it would be nice to have one if I had a flat tire or something on the road and needed to change a flat.
