Re: GIVEAWAY: 3M™ WorkTunes™ Product Giveaway

Very nice cricket!

My preferred choice would be over the ear since my hands are always dirty trying to push those little plugs into my ear canal would be quite difficult , having the headset option offers more protection ...Easy on easy off!

1. Over the ear.
2. More effective and less irritating (yea, goofy looking, but I need my hearing).

I never win these damn contests.

Over the ear anything in the ear is annoying.

I'm the odd one out. I prefer ear buds unless I'm shooting.

I have been using over the ear protection recently instead of buds. The only thing I don't like is they make behind my ears sweaty

Over the ear for loud noisy work. Earbuds for quiet stuff.

Over the ear, in the ear ones either fall out or irritate my ears. Also easier to lift up one side if someone is trying to talk to me.

Re: GIVEAWAY: 3M™ WorkTunes™ Product Giveaway

I haven't used in ear protection in decades. I have a couple of normal over the ear protection muffs around the shop. So it's easy to get to a pair when I need it or a guest shows up and I put them to work.

I have speakers in the shop for music but when the machines are running and you have hearing protection on it sort of defeats the purpose of the music. With a connected set I could listen to tunes too. Plus in the spray room it might be nice. That fan is loud.

Definitely prefer over the ear.

Mostly in ear Bluetooth headphones. I have a pair of over ear ones that I will use in the shop if I am doing a bunch of planing.

Re: GIVEAWAY: 3M™ WorkTunes™ Product Giveaway

I prefer over the ear protection due to the fact I can pull them off easily and usually when I'm using ear protection I'm also using gloves. Those little "in the ear" protectors aren't as easily pulled in and out with gloves on.

Oftentimes I'm needing to communicate with others, so pulling them off my ears and resting them on my shoulders is the way to go.

1. Over the ear

2. Ease of use and seems to block outside noise better.

Over the ear.

If I want to listen to something, I'll prefer it be for more than a couple cuts of material.

Over the ear appears to provide more protection, without needing to adversely increase audio volume.

Re: GIVEAWAY: 3M™ WorkTunes™ Product Giveaway

I do not have a over the ear protectors with blueteeth. Mine are just for noise. I would like the over the ear so it can be seen that I'm not in the listening mode. With the in the ear people will come up and talk away and can't be heard will.

Ear muffs for me as well. If someone is talking to me, I need to remove the hearing protection to know what they're saying -- muffs are way easier.

Over the ear. Otherwise I'm constantly trying to push the ear buds in place to actually keep the noise level down, ear buds just don't stay in place for me.

Re: GIVEAWAY: 3M™ WorkTunes™ Product Giveaway

I prefer the over-ear muff.

Like what has been said, it’s easier to take it off one ear to communicate, and not immediately lose that earplug

I would also like to have an in -ear model, for when I’m wearing a hard hat.

Bluetooth is such a great feature, to stream music and listen to podcasts.

My current muff takes aaa batteries, It would be nice to have a built in rechargeable.
