Festool Sleeved Hose Discontinued

One frustration i have found over and over when using my Festool vac and sanders is the cord wrapping itself around the hose during use.

Deciding I had had enough of it I though I would buy the sleeved hose that has the cord and hose permanently together. I contacted my Festool guy only to find out it is discontinued. He didn't know why.

It seems they just came out with it a year or two ago, anyone know why is was discontinued? I may have to find one online.

They went to a different style sleeved hose.

I have a sleeved with cord, it works well. I may be able to get you one from someone who grabbed at least 8 of them at Connect last year. It was what Festool gave away as their "gift" , the sleeved hose in the Systainer..
