Better question, if you had a hole 3' deep, 6' long & 4' wide, how much concrete would you need to fill it to grade?

This industry is getting exactly the applicants the marketplace has said it deserves.

Haha. Don't beat your self up. I might want to be selective on some of these questions. I'm might be asking for someone justifying a pay rate = to mine. Gotta get the most for a fair price. Thats the real question, and thats for my wallet I know you get what you pay for also. I'm sure someone that can answer most of these would be a great start in my opinion.

Now how many applicants do you think would answer that one correctly?

If an applicant got it right, you'd know you had something that warranted further investigation.

You could save loads of time by asking this question first!

Theres something to be said for bringing guys up from laborers. The trick is to find the ones that learn fast and work hard. Honestly, money doesnt have a whole lot to do with it.

That was my first thought that should been added to the list.

What is the recommended lunchtime feed for a birds mouth?

Why would you ever place a framing member 15-1/4" from the starting point of a wall or partition?
Is a cricket just the admin of CT?

Too tired tonight to go on and on and on and on.

Thats the key, I love a good sponge. I just would like some help training these youngsters. It would be hard for me to take on 7 new ones and try to be efficient also. I'd lose my shirt fast. Gotta have a good mix of experience and ones that want experience.

How many hours out of the work day to you devote to texting?
Do you work well with others, or is everyone a dick according to you?

Some of the best roofers come out of the work release center!

Honestly though, they are there every day....

Been there, done that a couple of times. You used to be able to get a jobs tax credit for hiring them. It was a pretty good deal.

Re: Eliminate Useless Unexperienced Employee Applicants

The labor pool in Florida here is so dry we can't even get people to show up for an interview, yet alone expect them to fill out an online questionnaire.

We actually have a trade knowledge questionnaire with application on our site. No one fills it out. People just don't apply if we ask them to fill it out. They'll call up the next of 252582 job ads that are easier to apply for.
