Drilling New Anchor Bolts For Light Pole, Template Help.

I have to drill 4 new holes to epoxy in light pole anchor bolts.

I am very confused by the template.

The template that came with the light pole gives me options for 13" B.C and 12" B.C (bolt circle).

The directions say to set anchor bolts at 12.5 B.C.

The engineer I hired to draw this up says to use 13" B.C.

Can anyone make sense of this?

Template 1 https://unitedlightingstandards.com/...EucGRmP3Jhdz0x

Template that came with anchor bolts https://ibb.co/4gf4D88

Thanks!

IMO, go with what the engineer said.

I assume he is correct, but I only get one shot at this.

If I drill incorrect there will be no where else to drill as this is a existing light pole.

I'm thinking maybe I should wait until the full light pole arrives next week and actually go make a template from the light pole base.

absolutely 100% correct on waiting for the exact template...

but go with what the engineer drew as that is what is making the whole thing work...

I just worry he did not notice the discrepancy in all the documents.

He can say whatever he wants but when they come to set the light pole if it doesn't fit I'm in trouble.

All the templates say the same thing, 12-13"...your engineer said do it at 13". Personally I'd err on the side of caution and do it a hair under 13".

I'd wait for the light pole to get there too, make a plywood template and tapcon it down and drill the holes
