Does This Seem Safe To You Guys?

As a guy that got hit with a 2800.00 Osha fine (no harness on a 4 pitch roof 10' off the ground) I find this a little dangerous. But then again I'm not a gutter guy.

Please note he was walking all around the house IN the gutters.

Yeah I'd say that is dangerous, no way I'd trust standing on a gutter... That is crazy. I accidently ripped a gutter off the facia while falling off a ladder once mind you.

Definitely not! I see it all the time; the gutter cleaners running around the roof with no harnesses, walking in the gutters, etc... And all illegal workers from what I've seen in my area.

Wow. I do some crazy, non osha approved chit. That right there is just nuts though.

I had a customer call me a year after Installed his gutters. Thought was gonna complain about something. Ended up thanking me. Slipped off his roof and grabbed the gutter and it held him
Up until he could prepare himself for the 8í drop.

This one cracked me up. Put the little guy on the bottom!

They were doing the roof/gutters on the house next door to our project.

Considering we just had a member fall off a ladder putting up Christmas lights heís probably safer on the gutter (Especially if heís the one who put the gutter up) At least the bush will help break his fall!

Re: Does This Seem Safe To You Guys?

Wow... now that is stupid. Lol. I can’t believe you actually saw that. I’ve never seen anything like that before. That’s just ridiculous. If I saw that in person my gut instinct would be to not want the guy to do that lmao but from afar if I don’t have to see it.. I guess if you’re that stupid I could care less. I’m not much of a tattle I wouldn’t call OSHA on him or anything. To each his own? Lol wow.

He has a ladder stabilizer on for safety, then does that? Lmao

If he is self employed with no employees ,OSHA would not have anything to do with the situation dumb as it is what he is doing.
