Crazy Weather

Today's high was a full 25 degrees below the norm.

We got up to a blistering 65 today. So far this spring and summer the average has been 4 degrees below average.

Re: Crazy Weather

Enjoy it, Gus. Summer took its time arriving, but last week was all 95-100 with lobster-steaming humidity here. We're having a record hot summer.

And yes, I worked out in the sun all last week.

And to make the blistering heat we've had even more fun we had 4 tornado's rip through the area on saturday. Today was almost pleasant out though, temp was still high but atleast the humidity was down for the first time in weeks.

I could enjoy the Turkish bath but sharing it with your 90 year old friends might make me keep my eyes closed.

Re: Crazy Weather

The summer has been a sauna with bright sun. Rooftop deck nearly killed me. Remodel were in now we have an ac unit in one of the rooms to take breaks and eat lunch in.

Been averaging 2-3 lbs. Lighter when I walk in the door. By bedtime back up to normal weight....

One of those was about 5 miles from my home. My son and I drove through about 10 minutes after it touched down. I can say I am glad that it is abnormal to have them here. I would not want to deal with that year after year.

Re: Crazy Weather

First of all, it almost never rains here between about the 4th of July and the first week of October. We've got about 4 days of outside painting to do before Saturday and they're now forcasting rain for the next two days. At least we're getting the trucks and the shop cleaned out.

Me too. Starting to get a little grouchy to go with the sun burn.

I drank 1 1/2 gallons of gatorade and 1/2 gallon of water and am still dehydrating. From the year without a summer to the year of a brutal summer.
