To embed a video on ContractorTalk, all you have to do is copy and paste the videos url that appears in the url address bar. No need to use Youtube embed function because that won't work here.

Re: YouTube Vs Facebook Vs Vimeo Related To Video & SEO

Another major opportunity in Real Reviews that You Can Trust is when your customers are willing to talk about working with you, preferably while also being in front of the jobs themselves.

While the video is really good, and helps this contractor market himself in many ways, the webpage it was taken from really shows how you can mix fresh content, optimized for a topic, along with customer validation. The contractor can use the page for dual reasons, one to get more leads, and the other to direct new prospects too in order to see his good work being re-enforced with customer comments and emotion too".

The bigger challenge I find for my clients getting started is "how to get the customers to participate" and it is very easy. This homeowner customer sounds great and the guidance to create the video was next to nothing, but the result will benefit him for years to come.

Re: YouTube Vs Facebook Vs Vimeo Related To Video & SEO

This is an example of how I am getting my clients to create their videos. Look closely and you will see a flow through the job, including the customer and having soft music to keep it going nicely. Also doing all the YouTube SEO items including embedding this into the page that is optimized too. It really does wonders to assist with the inbound marketing for leads, in addition to allowing for the client to better support his new proposals by showing off jobs with customer validation.

Listen to what she says on how she found out about this contractor, since that is a major validation as it relates to positioning for more quality leads. Hope the flow helps how you position for these in upcoming years.

This guy from Original Builders really got the knack of it. Here is the video which does a great job showing the project, including the before images along with a customer review. Notice the Title is designed to support search engine optimization.

He embeds the video into a dedicated page. All came out really nice considering this was only his second try at it.

Got another one for Aging In Place (Handicap Accessibility). The guy didn't even have to motivate someone a little older. Goes to show you this can be accomplished with any customer types.

Re: YouTube Vs Facebook Vs Vimeo Related To Video & SEO

This client of mine was waiting for just the right opportunity to have a great job and great customer to help him in this area. The video came out great as well as the supporting landing page. Has everything for both cosmetics and SEO related activities.

If you are interested in the landing page, then go here to see how we structured it from the website address, title tags, and how it links to other aspects of the website. It will help him get leads while also making it easier for him to send proposals and have the prospects see this page to help establish credibility.

This is a new one we just embedded for a client. It has a real hip presentation. So while are focusing on helping generate leads in how it is used on the website and YouTube, we are also focusing on giving the clients in the area he works in a more retro type of feel. Of course this intro is not for everyone, but it can provide ideas how to make you stand out different in the video making process.

Re: YouTube Vs Facebook Vs Vimeo Related To Video & SEO

One of my clients is very comfortable explaining his work but I needed to nudge him into expanding his marketing to include videos. This landing page shows how we just added video marketing to support his Commercial Window Repair side of his business.

There are three short videos, one showing the problem, the next showing the in progress and the last showing the finishing touches.

Look at the Title of the Video to see how it supports the Title Tags of the landing page. Behind the scenes we also add Video Tags as well as linking the videos to the pages.

And while he is not prominently found in search as of this post, previously he was never found at all when we did Commercial Window Repair Eugene OR. With a few little additions of Video Marketing, he is now appearing between Page 2 and Page 3. Not bad considering he was mostly concentrating on Residential Marketing and is now moving to expand into Commercial Marketing.

Of course not everyone will get similar results but it is a very cost effective approach to building the image while also enhancing the search results.
