Showing The Best Of Who You Are (Company Branding)

Let me set the stage before you check this out. I got a new marketing client who basically has been in business since 1989 and grew mostly through word of mouth. He made a decision to finally get a real marketing image.

I promised him we would put together a great one-two marketing punch to show off a great project along with how professional he is too. Of course we had to build the initial website, but that was just a means to the end.

The first punch shows off how professional and organized he is, and the second punch leads into a great project that shows the before, diagrams, some great after shots and a customer video.

Now make believe you were going up against him for a remodeling project where the prospect knows nothing about you or my client.

Do not look at this as just a website development issue, but rather the ability to accumulate great content, pictures and videos, then organize it in such a way that any programmer can make it look good.

This is a part of online marketing that many times gets overlooked when you only rely on the technical abilities of the website programmer. The branding component requires the owner's effort to accumulate the content.

So give an honest opinion how this looks. And if you have something similar, or possibly better, then by all means show off The Best of Who You Are.

Hope it gives you some ideas to take your marketing efforts for the future for competitive differentiation.
