Re: New Website Up - Feedback Please!

Hey, i like your website. It is easy to navigate through and tells the viewer what services you provide. I like how you put a little biography on yourself, seems like we know you already!

Con, is the logo(Blue "Absolute Plumbing" logo) on the top right hand corner is kind of blurry, its not as crisp looking as your "24 hour Emergency Service" badge on the right hand side. Also the pic of the 3 vans are blurry as well. Not sure if you did that on purpose.

But other than that seems good, the client will definitively be more comfortable working with you because of all the information you placed on your site.

cheers and Good luck!!

One thing you may consider is lead generation. You could add a coupon to your slider linking to an auto-responder page. Ask for an name, email and phone # in exchange for your discount coupon.

You are now building a list of new and potential customers whom you can market to via email.

cheers,
JV

Re: New Website Up - Feedback Please!

Site looks good! I agree on the picture but it sounds like your getting that updated.

The key thing you want to remember is that an average customer needs to be able to find everything they need, including contact information, above the newspaper fold. If they have to scroll to find what they need, they are more likely to leave your site all together and find something else. You also want to make sure your phone number is towards the upper right hand side of the page, which yours is. Studies have shown that peoples eyes are drawn to the upper right hand side of the page as soon as they click on it to find the phone number.

Re: New Website Up - Feedback Please!

hope this doesnt sound harsh- but... its nice you have 3 work vans and a trailer- but I would rather see a smiling attractive lady, plumbers tool, or something else. It just weakens your page to have a blurry picture mixed with a clean powerful image. there are plenty of places to purchase nice photos online- take care.
