Carl built my site 4 years ago and itís been awesome. Best investment ever. Heís actually going to be building me a new one because itís such a no brainer with results and I want to keep things fresh and updated. Canít wait to see it. Last time I was like a little kid waiting for Christmas lol.

Wish I would have kept better track of the amount of leads and sales. If I had to guess Iíd say between 6or 700 actual jobs.

Hoping it gets me enough leads to get me off of HA and Angieís.

Re: New Website

Been considering getting a website myself as well

What is the ballpark range for cost for using them to build one?

We don't put our pricing on the website. If you'd like a proposal or to speak with me, it's easy to get in touch with me through the site via phone or email, whichever you feel more comfortable with.

Results are dependent on many factors.

- do you have a good local reputation?
- do you do quality work?
- do you take good photos of your work? (before/after are best)
- do you have a process in place to handle prospects/sales?
- do you do any other advertising?

Your service area also plays into the equation, we'll only work with one contractor per trade per area.

We're not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but we're one of the most thorough.

You'll be happy with the outcome. I am excited to build it for you too!

Thank you! You're a great example of the factors I listed above, you had a great local reputation, you do great work, you have great photos, and you have a process to sell your jobs. Couple that with a great website that people can find and it can change the game. You'll be really happy with the new look!

Thank you for the kind words.

Carl

Re: New Website

Carl put me in touch with a guy to "remodel" my logo

He did an amazing job.

Our town mascot is the "little giant' with approval from the town I was able to make some changes to the mascot and make it my own.

Thoughts?

The concept is good, but have no idea what he was going for with that torso area/head... very distracting from the rest of the logo... it's almost like the back is on the front but then he added accent lines for the chest/ribs, but the face is still hidden behind (some thing)... kinda' looks like he's wearing a bullet-proof vest under there (or forgot to bring the face forward in the drawing)... that, and the banner seems lost on the left... it just disappears, so it also looks off...

Just spent a few minutes and played with it a little bit to give some alternative ideas on the body mechanics to have it make a little more sense and not be a distraction, so it's not polished, but the little giant guy needs to be cleaned up IMO... symmetry is off...

Oh, OK... If it's an established local icon that people will recognize as such that you're tapping into, different matter altogether and I can understand why you'd want to keep it as close to the original as possible... That said, the other changes to the banner might be a consideration... just some alternatives...

Best of luck with it... 8^)
