Zbar Finished Carpet To New Vinyl Plank

I was curious how you handle new vinyl plank install that buts to existing Z bar tack installed for carpet. It was lino tucked underneath before the ZBar was installed. New plank going over top of the existing lino. Can I leave the Zbar and install a transition over top of the new plank and the existing Zbar. OR ????

I would say use a threshold or Multi-purpose transition that you can cut down to fit. Hope that Helps
